About Display International, Inc.

Founded in the spring of 1997, Display International Inc. has grown to be one of the leaders in the Corrugated Display Industry. Our history will help explain my vision and how we continue to focus on what has brought us here this far, our valued customers.

I began my career in the corrugated box industry and later progressed to corrugated displays where I gained employment with one of the top ten display manufacturers in the United States. Working in the industry for two decades gave me an extensive understanding of the production processes as well as hands-on management experience. Two years later I accepted a sales position within the company. I was now conversing with literally hundreds of decision makers and company owners and learning first hand of their frustrations and dissatisfactions.

Being employed with this nationally known display company that began as a cardboard specialty shop and later started manufacturing cardboard displays, now wanted to take on every display market place imaginable and they wanted to do it all under-one-roof. Overhead expenses and labor costs skyrocketed off the charts, which made their corrugated displays essentially cost prohibited for most buyers. Our clients soon experienced quality problems, longer production lead-times and increased overhead costs that had to be amortized into their final pricing. Doing everything under-one-roof now impacted every customer whether they utilized those operations and processes or not. It soon became apparent I should pursue another avenue with my life and become responsible for my own destiny.

Becoming responsible for one’s own destiny was quite the eye-opener. Soon I learned that I didn’t know, what I didn’t know. Perseverance and passion became my drive and resolve. I began to reflect about the many disappointing experiences that were told by dissatisfied display buyers and less than contented retailers. Trying to address these many issues would be challenging; however, if I could accomplish this task, without reservation it would become the foundation for Display International.

Drawing from life’s experiences, I began to outline some very simple, but often overlooked, successful business benchmarks that would be the onset for Display International. Our primary focus will be to listen, as no one knows their product or mission better than them. We will be there to assist our customers utilizing our experience and knowledge from conceptual design to final approval of their display
choice. Our production goals would also be quite simple, produce and deliver a quality affordable product on-time. Display International was now Founded.

Shortly after the creation of Display International we went back to the table and after hours of brainstorming we launched our Universal Displays. The benefits and features for Universal Displays surpassed our competitors, opening a new avenue for Point-of-Purchase Displays. Now any size company could promote new products or develop marketing campaigns with absolutely no cutting dies to purchase. And by producing every order upon demand would give each customer the option to personalize their displays with the option of solid one color print and/or custom graphics while continuing to meet their strict budget restraints. Universal Display was now Founded.
